Unpacking

Checking the supplied items

After unpacking, verify that you have

received the following parts;

•-Interface box (CAV-IOR for CAV-1, or

CAV-lOEfor CAV-2) (1)

• Wireless mouse (Air-EGG) (CAV-1 only) (1)

• CD-ROM control software (1)

• Sony SUM-3 (NS) batteries (CAV-1 only) (2)

• Mouse cable for PS/2 (CAV-1 only) (1)

Inserting batteries into the Air-

EGG (CAV-1 only)

The Air-EGG battery indicator (see page 12)

will flash when you insert the batteries.

1 Open the cover.

2 Insert two size-AA (R6) batteries with

correct polarity.

3 Close the cover.

Hold down the cover. (The cover will be

a little uneven.)

Turn the cover to the right. The cover

locks.

Note

After inserting the batteries into the Air-EGG,

leave it undisturbed on a flat surface for a few

seconds to allow the internal circuitry to calibrate.

The battery indicator stops flashing when

calibration is over.
