It is for the first time in the world that 16 mm large diameter
dynamic type driver units are used for closed type in-the-ear
headphones. *

layers of two kinds of below 0.1-micron-thick polymer materials.

In order to raise the resolution of sound, 440 kJ/m

magnetic force neodymium magnet is adopted which is the
most energy-efficient of general industrial products.
Clear midrange and treble and powerful bass are reproduced.
The production method called the “transverse field pressing
method” heightened the magnetic force of neodymium magnet
more than ever. This is a production method utilizing the property
of neodymium magnet whose force is strengthened by bringing
the orientation of magnetic powder particles into parallelism with
the direction from N pole to S pole in the magnetic field.

To make the housing small and thin, a structure to unify the
driver unit and the housing is adopted.
This eliminates air leaks from small clearances between parts
and suppresses unnecessary resonances, achieving smooth

Tone control by hand for each unit
Newly developed acoustic control mechanism
In the manufacturing process, precision measurement and
manual constant adjustment of acoustic resistance materials

Closed type vertical in-the-ear method
To adopt the 16 mm-diameter driver unit, a wearing method to
place it perpendicularly to the external auditory canal is newly
developed. Moreover, in order to minimize the housing
thickness, which greatly influences fitting, a high-strength
magnesium ally is used for housing.
This reduces the wall thicknesses of the housing by 30 % or
more compared with the case where general resin materials are
used.

Newly developed hybrid silicone ear buds which combine
silicones of two kinds of hardness are adopted.
The hardened core holds the shape of the outlet for sound and
prevents the sound quality deterioration due to crushed tip.
The softened outer portion improves the fitness to the external
auditory canal.
By increasing closeness, comfortable feeling of wearing is
assured for long-duration use.
As the shape of the ear differs among people, seven kinds of
earbuds are attached.
